Join the Kenai Community Library for our first Take Your Child to the Library Day!

Take Your Child to the Library Day is an national celebration of local libraries and the families they serve. On this day, libraries across the country celebrate all that libraries have to offer with free and fun activities for children and their caregivers to attend.

During the day, we will have a library scavenger hunt as well as the following TYCLD events:

10:30am-11:15am: Off the Page with Robyn Zinszer (Recommended for ages 3-6, but all are welcome!)
Join us for creative learning, movement, and play, including a closer reading of a favorite children's book.

11:15am: Craft time in the Kid's Spot! (Ages 6 and Under)
Following our special Storytime, stick around in the kid's spot for a themed craft time.

2-3pm: Lego Marble Mazes (Ages 6-12)
We'll be breaking out the Legos to build challenging mazes for marbles!

4-5pm: Nintendo Switch Club: Weekend Edition (Ages 8-18)
Our classic video game club - bring your own Nintendo Switch or play on ours!

Registration is not required for any of these events.

Children are invited to sign up for library cards throughout the day if they don't currently have one as well! Please visit our website to see what is required to sign up for a card.
